Bonjour à toutes et à tous, Je m'appelle Olga Pyshkina, j'ai 34 ans et je viens de Saint-Pétersbourg. Ma famille est à moitié russe, à moitié ukrainienne. J’ai obtenu une bourse complète Chevening pour faire un Master en administration publique et politique à l’Université de Birmingham (Royaume-Uni). Actuellement, je vis à Belgrade (Serbie) où je travaille comme professeure d’anglais, consultante en éducation (j’aide les étudiants à postuler dans des universités à travers le monde), ainsi que professeure de russe pour étrangers. Je vais m’installer en France en août pour commencer un Master à l’Université de Cergy Paris (CYU), intitulé Les idées politiques à l’ère numérique, spécialisé en intelligence artificielle et gouvernance. J’aurai des cours à Cergy au moins deux fois par semaine, et une journée par semaine à Paris (dans une université partenaire). Ce programme est une étape importante vers le doctorat que je souhaite entreprendre ensuite. Je cherche une famille d’accueil ou un logement chaleureux et bienveillant à partir du mois d’août, idéalement pour une période longue (au moins un an), mais je suis aussi ouverte à un accueil de 3 à 6 mois si cela vous convient mieux. Je serais ravie d’aider dans la vie quotidienne, notamment en soirée ou les week-ends, en dehors de mes horaires d’étude et de travail. Je viens d’une grande famille et j’ai l’habitude de m’occuper d’enfants et d’adolescents. J’ai trois petites sœurs (18, 12 et 8 ans) et un petit frère de 7 ans. Je n’ai pas d’enfants moi-même, mais j’ai toujours aidé à la maison. J’adore aussi les animaux, notamment les chiens et les chats. À 18 ans, j’ai travaillé comme bénévole pendant 2 ans et demi dans un centre de soins palliatifs, en parallèle de mes études en économie et gestion. J’ai travaillé dans plusieurs ONG internationales comme Greenpeace et Amnesty International, ainsi qu’en tant qu’assistante de recherche au Human Rights Advocacy Centre de l’Université de Middlesex (UK). J’ai également participé à l’organisation des Jeux olympiques et paralympiques d’hiver de Sotchi en 2014. J’ai beaucoup voyagé (Asie, États-Unis, Europe) et vécu au Royaume-Uni (2 ans), en Arménie (2 ans) et en Serbie (depuis un an). Je parle couramment anglais et russe, et je viens de commencer à apprendre le français. Pour le moment, je ne pourrai donc communiquer qu’en anglais avec la famille. Je ne suis venue à Paris qu’une seule fois, en tant que touriste pendant 10 jours, et j’ai hâte de mieux connaître la ville et la culture française. Les semestres de mon programme sont assez courts (du 5 septembre à mi-décembre), ce qui me permettra d’être plus disponible pendant les vacances, même si je continuerai à travailler à temps partiel. I’m 34 years old, originally from Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a mixed Russian-Ukrainian background. I’m a Chevening Scholar and hold a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Politics from the University of Birmingham in the UK. I’m currently living in Belgrade, Serbia, and working as an English tutor, education consultant (helping students apply to universities worldwide), and a Russian language teacher for foreigners. In August, I’m moving to France to start a Master’s in Political Ideas in the Digital Age (focused on AI and governance) at CY Cergy Paris University. I will need to attend classes in Cergy twice a week and once a week in Paris. This program is an important step towards my future PhD, and I hope to stay in France for at least one year. I’m looking for a welcoming and friendly family to stay with—ideally for a long-term period starting from August, or for at least 3–6 months depending on what suits you best. I would be happy to contribute to the household and help wherever needed, especially in the evenings and weekends when I’m not studying or working. I come from a big family and have experience caring for children and teenagers. I have three younger sisters (18, 12, and 8 years old) and a 7-year-old brother. Though I don’t have children myself, I’ve always helped out at home. I also love animals—especially dogs and cats. At 18, I volunteered for 2.5 years at a hospice, supporting people with terminal illnesses while studying Economics and Management. Professionally, I’ve worked with international NGOs like Greenpeace and Amnesty International, and I was a research assistant at the Human Rights Advocacy Centre at Middlesex University (UK). I was also part of the organizing team for the Sochi 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. I’ve travelled widely (Asia, the USA, Europe) and lived in the UK (2 years), Armenia (2 years), and now Serbia (1 year). I speak fluent English and Russian and have just started learning French. Please note that I would only be able to communicate with your family in English for now. I’ve only visited Paris once as a tourist and I’m excited to explore the city and settle into French life. Since my university semesters are short (September to mid-December), I’ll be more available to help during holidays, though I’ll still have part-time work.
